When exceptional coffee is sourced sustainably and honorably, we jump at the opportunity. That's the case with this delicious coffee from Theri, Kenya, which was made possible by the hard work of numerous smallholder farmers in Theri and by the benevolent work of Emmanne Ministries.

We first heard of the coffee growing in Theri through the team at Emmanne Ministries, who've been serving in Central Kenya for several years. Their team focuses on creating initiatives in economic development, healthcare, education, orphan care, and women's support. They've assisted the Theri Coffee CoOp by introducing them to an export-import company, who've made it possible for Theri farmers to financially earn more for their hard work. 

Kenyan AA coffee is known for its complexity and excellence throughout the coffee industry. Our QC team worked diligently to hone in our roast profile on this coffee, and the end result is more than worth it. We've tasted flavors ranging from grapefruit to heirloom tomato to semi-sweet chocolate in this coffee, but what we notice most is its sweetness and sparkling complexity. The CoOp fully washed only the ripest cherries from this lot to assure quality and consistency, which has yielded a pleasant and clean finish. Trust us, this coffee is truly one to experience and to share with friends.
