The Perez family have been a staple relationship within the Non-Fiction sourcing network for over 5 years now. Many of you have contributed to our need for more and more of their exceptional coffee each harvest. This is the true mark of success in our eyes, to have the honor and the opportunity to buy more of their coffee and to grow our relationship year after year.
Though the washed lot we offer year round is a reliable and consistent "daily driver", as I like to call it, Max and Claudia have also garnered very high accolades for their more exotic offerings too, landing multiple recognitions within the coveted "Cup Of Excellence" competition.
About 5 years ago, Max and Claudia dared to dream even more when they decided to seek out heirloom Gesha varietals from other producing countries, like Ethiopia & Panama, and plant them on a special plot of LA HERMOSA that would become known as; GESHA FOREST.
So, with that, we are very proud to bring to you our very first GESHA FOREST lot, a naturally processed Gesha with intense florals and delicate sweetness. This is one of those coffees that you really want to take your time sipping, taking note of how much the experience changes as the coffee cools more each minute.
